2008 Apprentice Workshop

 

The Arkansas Hawking Association’s Apprentice Workshop is fast approaching.  It is scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2008, and will start between 9:30 and 10:00 am.  It will once again be held at First Electric Cooperative Headquarters located at 1000 J.P. Wright Loop Rd in Jacksonville. Lunch will be provided by the club and if you want bring a side or dessert.

 

Items on the agenda are to include:  Hooding and fit, Bal Chatri once over (Bring in your BC and get it checked out for suggestions or compliments), Trapping:  Do you have it with you?, A leather workshop where apprentices can make and take a pair of cuffs and jesses.  Also this is a great time to get your questions answered and get together to visit.  Also there will be several handouts available.  Non-Apprentices that want to donate to the apprentice door prize table are encouraged to do so.

 

 

If there are birds that need tail-bells installed we can do it there if you bring your birds.

 

Also there will be a “Door Prize Drawing” for Apprentices Only. 

 

For the whole there are 8 pairs of Bells available for purchase from Larry Counce at $15.00 per set.  We will have T-shirts and patches avaliable for purchase.
